something just dawned on me today as i processed my assimilation into the real world (thanks to our new poster, @jester, giving me a major throwback to my first post).. when you're a jehovah's witness, you really are in some sort of la la land.

things which are perfectly normal are acts of eating from the table of the demons.

things which are horribly grotesque and extremely unjust are branded as "righteousness".

@sillygirlforgotpassword Some ex Witnesses suggest that the Governing Body are a bunch of bumbling idiots. I actually think they know exactly what they're doing. The amount of of calculated articles which follow a known pattern for effective propaganda is staggering.

@Jrjw We all felt stupid - I hear you. But out of eight million people, YOU woke up. I'd say that takes a mighty amount of perception and awareness on your part. @will-be-apostate You're doing great :). The training wheels are off! I'd say you've got more clout now than any 23 year old guy I know. There may be a few crashes here and there (no one can ride in a perfectly straight line), but it sounds like you've found a way to zig and zag your way gracefully through the social and dating scene. Keep us posted with your experiences and personal realizations as time goes on! This post was interesting!

I love how removed from the situation you've allowed yourself to be now. It takes balls to have enough insight to critique yourself from an objective perspective. I'm proud of you, @will-be-apostate. Only a truly confident person could have the gall to say, "hey, I was wrong." You've gone a step further to do it on a public forum! I like you already.

What do you do when your Operating System is corrupted?

i was just thinking of an illustration that may apply.. what do we do if our computer operating system is corrupted?

perhaps through a virus, or because of outdated or corrupted technology?.

do we hang on to that computer because of sentimental reasons?

Moses, Soloman spoke to the entire assembly of Israel...How???

moses spoke to the entire assembly deuteronomy 31:3, leviticus19:2 and exodus 16:9 no sound amplification, we must remember he was speaking to 2 million people.

solomon in 2 chronicles spoke to thousands maybe millions, so how the hell did folks a mile away hear..you need a sound system for 200 folks in a close building in the kh.... moses, solomon and others had a great set of vocal cords.....
